Roasted Figs and Pears
3 pears; peeled and cored
5 figs; peeled
½ t. butter or olive oil if vegan
1 t. maple syrup – I use grade B. I prefer the flavor
Dash of nutmeg
Toss all in some foil, place in a 450 oven for 20-30 minutes and serve over ice cream, yogurt, bread pudding… just about anything.
