  4. Nice pic. I love taking casual shots of people when they don’t know they’re being photographed. They always look so natural and relaxed. They’re especially good with wildlife in them!

  5. Wow, that’s a big plateful. He could surely spare two.

  12. He shoulda shared his fries!

    26-July-2008 at 11:32 am

  13. That’s a great shot. I fear he might not have any choice about sharing at some point.

    26-July-2008 at 11:36 am

  14. I was also going to see that he might not have a choice about sharing. That burd looks mighty hungry. And quick!

  15. Perhaps he got some just to feed that bird–I mean sometimes we used to do that at Ivar’s on the Pier in Seattle!

  17. That’s the point at which mom would have told dad…stop feeding the gull yoo idiot! Dad, being not bright, would have given the whole plate of fries to da bird and dat bird would tell his frends and da next thing you know der is a huge flock of dem looking for fries. This has happened serveral times, yes we have gulls at the lake, and dad just never learns…or he thinks it’s funny.

  18. Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?

But I agree with Zippy, Sadie and Speedy, you feed one bird, then you have the whole messy flock around!

  19. Ivars is still there! Keep Clam! So are the gulls!!!! Remember the big salmon that flew from the Smith Tower?

  20. That looks like our Lady when one of the teenagers has fries. Our Lady is on Weight Watchers and always wants “just a little bite…”

at least the dude has the best ketchup in the world on the table (heinz)! no mistaking THAT bottle clear across the country from pittsburgh PA!

zippy is correct; that happens “downdashore” too, as we philadelphians say. give 1 gull a piece of funnel cake, and da next thing ya know… ;-)

  22. My goodness, I would be rather worried about that big bird sitting so close to me.

    27-July-2008 at 9:30 am

  23. I think that bird would take more than a fry if he could!

    27-July-2008 at 11:40 am

  24. LOL!!!!!! How can he just sit there? I’d be freaked out having that face watching me!

What’s a chaperone? The Moms are talking about one…

  26. Hehee, how cute! If he did share, he might have a whole line of gulls on the ledge, lol!! Shoot! The seagulls here in VA wouldn’t have sat patiently waiting for a fry to be thrown their way…they would have snatched one w/out asking and flown away!

    27-July-2008 at 8:50 pm

  27. We wonder if the fry he is picking up made it to his mouth!
