oh and DKM – her food, crochet, knitting and stuff

Easy like Sunday Morning

Cooking with DKM

A while back several people asked what the cute looking little peep was in the banner. Well, it’s a peep bowl filled with tomatoes.

Peep with heirloom tomatoes

Which ended up becoming a delish dinner!

  1. We are in hopes of getting ripe tomatoes from our garden soon. We had to replant due to the very late frost we received. Looks yummy.

  2. The peep is very cute, but we’re with Sophia, tomato’s are not very interesting to cats…unless we can roll them around!

  3. That would also be a furry fun bowl to eat stinky goodness from!

P.S. – we saw yer comment on Catzee’s site about watermarks on yer photos. Daddykitty has been doing that fer a while. You may also consider puttin’ them in a place on da photo that makes it harder fer others to photoshop out yer wartermark. Just takes a few bad beans!

  7. That’s a kyoot peep bowl. We don’t like tomatoes furr eating, but they can be good tp play wiv. Sumtimes we pull them off the small trees that grow in the small house that’s made furrom all glass, and is good furr sleeping in.

  9. Love the peep bowl! It’s just adorable! Honestly, I’ve never seen an orange and green tomato like the one in your bowl. How purrdy! I’m not big on raw tomatoes, but I love cooked ones. Your salad looks so pretty though!

  11. That’s a great looking peep bowl. So bright and cheery. My Mom loves tomatoes, yuk, but we still love her. She likes the second picture, too. You could eat right from it, she says, it looks so real. Our Easy Like Sunday Morning is up, we was just late. Have a lazy Sunday Sophia and the buns.
