Sophia faking interest in puzzles

What's this?

She really is just looking for nap spot to impose maximum inconvenience on her humans.

Puzzles are exhausting!

Notice her paw on my hand so I can’t do anything while she is sleeping… Cats!

  3. Cats are so much fun. Ours would lay in the Scrabble box while we played.

  4. Cats do have a habit of doing that. When I had my kitty she would sit on whatever I was doing and then the dog would get jealous and come joing her. And then they would get into a fight right there. It was crazy.

  5. What is it with cats and puzzles?
When we first got married, the DH and I started a 5000 piece (yes, that’s FIVE thousand) puzzle and the cats pretty much ruined it for us by laying on it, knocking pieces off the table, chewing them, and making the puzzle unfinishable. And that was back when we only had two. The five of them now would wreck so much havoc, we don’t even try puzzles anymore.
    Dern animals.

  6. You go Sophia, what a great napping spot!

Cats are so “needy”, they have to have the full attention. If Willow hears me talking or paying attention to another cat, she will come in from another room and butt right in. Now, Mr. Rhett would push one of the puzzle pieces around and then carry it off.

  8. Kitties will do that. I think they sense that we are paying attention to something besides them and they don’t like it.

  9. Oh No! How can you nap when there is so many puzzle pieces to steal and hide and toss around!

  13. Ok, my cat does this ALL the time. Doesn’t matter what you’re concentrating on, he comes and lays on it! :)

    Mine’s up.

  14. A Purrfect place to rest.
We agree, always hold on to at least one finger.

  15. Why would they want to pay attention to anything but you, right Sophia. Pfff, puzzles won’t give them the same kind of joy (or headache) that we cats can…

You got to love that very studious, if inconvenient to humans, behaviour of cats anyway…:)

  26. Haha cats tend to sleep in the most inconsiderate places! Puddy likes to sleep in between me and my laptop so I have to reach around her to type. Eventually I give up and she gets what she’s after – a good old patting! :)
