Easy Like Sunday Morning
DKM! I’m sleeping here… go cook or something
DKM Nosh
What to do with 12oz. of mushrooms…
Make Mushroom Soup!
Anthony Bourdain’s Mushroom Soup
6 tablespoons butter (use olive oil if Vegan)
1 onion, sliced thin
12 oz. mushrooms, halved
4 cups veggie stock
Parsley
2 oz. Sherry
salt and pepper
Over medium heat, melt two tablespoons of the butter in a saucepan. Toss in the onion and cook until soft but not browned. Toss in the remaining butter and then add the mushrooms. Cook for 8 minutes. Add veggie stock, drop in handful of parsley, and bring to a boil. When bubbling, reduce to a simmer and cook for an hour. Pour soup into a blender or use a stick blender and process until smooth. Return to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Pour in the sherry, and season with salt and pepper. Serve with a dollop of yogurt.

We’ll have bacon, please.

You look very elegant on this green and white flowered bed ! The soup sounds very good, only Arthur and Rosie complain that there are no grilled mousies in there.
