DK - The best way to spend a cold stormy Sunday is to cuddle up on a snuggle for a nap
DKM - That’ s not a snuggle - that’s my afghan from when I was a child
DK - It feels and smells like a snuggle
DKM - My grandmother made that for me when I was 7, she is the one who taught me how to crochet
DK - Yep, it smells like love, it’s a snuggle. zzzzZZZZZZzzzzz

Two new snuggles - one we’re calling The Lilly-Lu in honor of our sick friend and the other is the Watermelon. Both are being auctioned off on the Cat Blogsphere to help with her vet bills.
Sophia helps with all snuggles!
1. Wait for it… wait for it…
2. Test the waters with one paw
3. Give it a good thump
4. Rest; but keep a firm paw on the yarn
5. Give it a whack to get it moving again
6. Don’t let it fly away
7. As it swings back by…
8. Raise yourself on to two paws
9. Go in for the kill
10. Grab at it with your back paws
11. Bunny Kicks
12. Chomp of death
13. Rest after the kill
We have a new bird couple that’s moved into the neighborhood. Normally, I have house finches, purple finches and sparrows that hang out on my feeders, but today, I have a pair of Hooded Orioles. I wish I could have grabbed a picture but it was so windy out I couldn’t get a still shot. Also, my Morning Doves’ eggs have hatched and I can hear little peeps from my bedroom window and a purple finch couple have moved into the nest on the patio. We’re getting ready for the second set of spring babies here!
