Six weird things about me: I’m not sure I’m that weird or interesting enough for six things… I’ll give it a try. I’m also adding a few to make it a Thirteen Thursday.
- I suffer from a variety of animal protein intolerances which is why I’m a vegetarian
- I’m a cookbook junkie
- I like Brussels sprouts
- I take a ferry boat to work
- I wear a scarf almost every day
- I have always lived within 1 mile of water – The Ocean, Folsom Lake & the Sacramento River.
- I am addicted to Diet Coke
- I used to be a speech and debate coach
- I have a very musical family. My Aunt is an opera singer, her husband is a jazz pianist, his son is a famous jazz bassist, my older brother is a guitarist, my younger brother is a professional percussionist and a high school band director, my cousin plays the guitar and banjo, his son plays the guitar, and I sing (TraLaLa).

- Everyone takes me fishing because I’m the best caster in the family
- My real name is not DKM (Diva Kitty’s Mom) as the cat thinks; it is, actually, Michelle
